Aim trainer (accuracy test)

Train and measure your aim: 10 targets appear at random, you click them as fast and precisely as possible. Everything stays on your device.

Tap or click to start

10 targets appear one after another at random spots - hit them as fast and accurately as you can.

Honest note: mouse, trackpad and touchscreen differ a lot in precision and response time - your result depends on your input device, not just on you. Compare yourself primarily against yourself on the same device.

In 3 steps

  1. Tap or click the surface to start the test.
  2. Hit each appearing target as fast and accurately as you can.
  3. After 10 targets, review your avg. hit time and accuracy, save the result image or test again.

The aim trainer shows 10 targets one after another at random spots on a surface - you click or tap each target as fast and accurately as you can. From the 10 attempts the tool computes your average hit time and your accuracy (hits relative to every click, including misses). Each target position is generated with the browser cryptographic random source, not a simple random generator. Everything runs locally: no account, no server, no transmission of your results.

What counts as a normal value? There is no openly published scientific comparison study for browser-based aim trainers that we know of - the well-known gaming-focused training platforms keep their own measurement data proprietary. So this tool deliberately shows no invented comparison figure, only your own number.

Your result depends heavily on your input device: mouse, trackpad and touchscreen differ a lot in precision and response time - your number also reflects your device, not only you. Your best score, history and streak are stored locally in your browser, with a visible export and delete button.

Limitations: Measures hit time and accuracy via pointer/touch input - absolute values are not comparable across devices, but your own values on the same device are. The tool is primarily built for mouse, trackpad and touchscreen, not pure keyboard play. Not an aptitude or diagnostic test.

FAQ

Are my results uploaded or stored?

Nothing is uploaded: the measurement runs entirely locally in your browser. Your best score, history (at most the last 50 runs) and streak are stored locally - you can export them as a JSON file or delete them with one click at any time. There is no account and no server leaderboard.

What is a good aim-trainer result?

There is no openly published comparison study for browser-based aim trainers that we know of, so this tool deliberately shows no invented percentage. What is meaningful is primarily comparing yourself over several runs, on the same device.

Why is my accuracy different on a phone than on a PC?

A finger on a touchscreen covers a larger area and behaves differently from a mouse pointer - precision and hit time therefore differ systematically between input devices. That is a device property, not a measurement flaw in this tool.

Can I train my aim?

Yes, within limits: many gamers use aim-trainer exercises as a warm-up before matches, and regular practice measurably improves hand-eye coordination. Large overnight jumps are unrealistic though - treat the test as a game and practice tool, not a guarantee.

Does the aim trainer only work with a mouse?

No, touchscreen and trackpad work too - the tool is primarily built for pointer/tap input though, not pure keyboard play, just like comparable aim-trainer games.

How is this different from Aimlabs or Kovaak's?

Aimlabs and Kovaak's are specialized, usually installed training programs with their own account and cloud statistics. This aim trainer runs directly in the browser, with no install and no account - your results are stored exclusively locally on your device.
