A ZIP archive often holds many files and folders. Sometimes a ZIP contains further ZIPs (nested). This tool extracts the archive fully and also pulls the files out of nested ZIPs, so you end up with every individual file.

Extraction runs entirely locally in your browser (fflate, pure JavaScript). Your files are never uploaded - unlike online extractors that first send the archive to a server.

On a phone in particular a convenient unzip feature is often missing, for instance for a downloaded email attachment or a bulk download. Here you open the package directly, inspect the contained pieces individually and keep only what you actually need. Damaged or partially loaded archives are reported with a clear notice instead of silently producing garbage.

Worth knowing: a ZIP stores each entry's relative path plus a CRC-32 checksum that flags corrupted files. Password-protected (encrypted) archives cannot be opened by this local extractor, though - rather than fake a wrong output, it reports that honestly as an error.

In 3 steps

  1. Drop or pick your ZIP archive.
  2. The tool extracts locally, including nested ZIPs.
  3. Download the files individually or as a ZIP.

Limitations: Password-protected (encrypted) ZIPs cannot be extracted. Folder structure is flattened on download (file names only). Very large archives need memory.
