Limitations: The cut section has an honest per-device length cap (desktop about 20 minutes, tablet 15, phone 10; more on machines with plenty of memory) - sections over the cap are clearly refused, never silently truncated. The cap applies to the cut, not to the source file. Compressed inputs (MP3/M4A/OGG) need the browser WebCodecs audio decoder; WAV works everywhere. Output: WAV or M4A (for MP3, use the audio converter afterwards).
