The waveform is the face of an audio recording: podcast episodes, audiograms for social media and technical docs use it to show at a glance where music, speech and pauses sit. This tool draws a file peak levels as a bar waveform and exports it as PNG.
Three styles are available: teal on white (the gottrix brand look), a dark variant for dark-mode layouts and a transparent version that sits on any design of your own. Bars are normalized to the loudest peak - even quiet recordings produce a readable image.
The analysis streams over the decoded data memory-efficiently: only small-window peak values are kept, never the full audio. As always with gottrix, the file never leaves your device.

Limitations: Honest per-device length cap (desktop about 20 minutes, tablet 15, phone 10; more with plenty of memory) - the whole file is decoded and analyzed once. Bar style with a fixed brand colour per style (no free colour picker, no curve/mirror style). Compressed inputs need the browser WebCodecs decoder.
