Photos you share can be protected with your name or “© ” so it is clear who they came from. This tool provides a real editor for that: your text appears semi-transparently right on the image, and you see every change instantly in the preview.
Place the watermark freely by dragging the dot with mouse or finger to where you want it - not just into a fixed corner. Pick the text, opacity, size, rotation and color. For a diagonal line simply rotate the watermark; for continuous protection enable tile mode, which repeats the text across the whole image. With several images the same watermark is applied to all.
Everything happens locally in the browser on a canvas - nothing is uploaded. The image format is preserved. Unlike PDF watermarks, any text (including non-Latin) can be used here.
Through the settings you control how prominent the watermark looks: a low opacity suits a discreet copyright note that does not disturb the subject, while a strong line such as “Draft” or “Confidential” dragged to the centre clearly hinders unauthorised reuse. Tile mode covers the whole image and is hard to crop away - ideal for copyright protection. Keep in mind, though, that a visible watermark deters but is no technical copy protection - it can be removed with effort. Precisely because the images never leave your device, you can safely mark sensitive or unpublished shots too.
