Start and end are entered as decimal hours (9.5 means 9:30) - the calculator platform deliberately has no dedicated clock-time input; decimal hours are the established, unambiguous convention here. The break in minutes is automatically subtracted from the span; an empty or unchanged day (end not after start) does not count. "Show more days" reveals two extra days (6-7). The whole calculation runs locally in your browser, in pure JavaScript - nothing is uploaded or stored.
