BMP files are large and awkwardly handled by many programs. As a PDF they open everywhere, are easy to send and to archive. This tool places each BMP as its own page in a PDF.

Drop one or more BMP images and pick the page size (A4, Letter or “fit to image”), orientation and margin. With A4/Letter each image is fitted without distortion and centred; the selection order sets the page order.

The BMPs are decoded locally in the browser and embedded into the PDF - nothing is uploaded. The image pixels are preserved losslessly.

Because the bitmap format stores every pixel uncompressed, BMP files often come from old measurement software, screenshots or Windows tools and waste a lot of space. Bundling them as a PDF gives you a compact, portable document that displays consistently across platforms and archives well long-term - a typical use case is filing technical diagrams or scanned forms in a continuously numbered record.

      1. Drop BMP images.
      2. Choose page size, orientation and margin.

Limitations: Each BMP becomes one page (selection order). Fitted without distortion for A4/Letter, at image size for “fit to image”. Very large BMPs use a lot of memory on mobile.

      FAQ

      Are the BMP images uploaded?

No, the PDF is built entirely locally in the browser.

      Can I combine several BMPs?

Yes, each becomes a page in the order you selected them.

      Is the quality kept?

Yes, the pixels are embedded losslessly.

      A4 or image size?

A4/Letter fit each image into a standard page; “fit to image” uses the image dimensions.
