A currency converter converts an amount from one currency into another using an exchange rate. This tool covers 24 widely used currencies worldwide - from the US Dollar and Euro to the Indian Rupee, Brazilian Real and UAE Dirham - and shows both the converted amount and the rate used.
The conversion runs entirely locally in your browser, in pure JavaScript, using a rate table baked directly into the tool - no live rate is fetched from any server, nothing is uploaded and nothing is stored. That is deliberate: a live fetch while you type would mean a foreign server sees which amount you are converting.
An honest note: the rate table is a snapshot frozen at build time, not a live market rate. Real exchange rates fluctuate constantly and also differ from your bank's or payment provider's rate (fees, markups). For an actual transaction, only your bank's or provider's current-day rate applies.

In 3 steps
Enter the amount.
Pick the source and target currency.
Read off the converted amount and the rate used.
Limitations: The rate table is a snapshot frozen at build time, not a live market rate, and therefore drifts from the current-day rate. For an actual transaction, only your bank's or payment provider's current rate applies.
FAQ
Is this a live exchange rate?
No, deliberately not. The rate table is a fixed, locally stored snapshot - a live fetch would reveal to a foreign server which amount you are converting.
Is my amount uploaded?
No. The entire conversion runs locally in your browser; neither the amount nor the chosen currencies leave your device.
Can I use this for an actual transfer?
Only as a rough guide. For an actual transaction, only your bank's or payment provider's current-day rate applies.
How many currencies does the tool cover?
24 - from the largest trading currencies (US Dollar, Euro, British Pound, Yen) to major regional currencies from Asia, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East.
Does this work offline?
Yes - after the page has loaded once, the conversion still works in flight mode, since the rate table is baked directly into the tool.
